Venetian plaster is composed of well seasoned hydrated lime putty and fine marble powder. It is troweled on and burnished to achieve a glossy, old world look. Another type of Venetian plaster is rougher, almost like stucco.  We can obtain a semi-glossy or velvet-satin Venetian plaster look depending on the technique used.
